On the occasion of the 16th edition of ArtVerona, the restoration of the installation A e Z aspettano l'amore (A and Z await the love) by Alik Cavaliere, headed by the students of the Accademia di Belle Arti in Verona, is presented in the Sala Scacchi.

Following the agreement, signed between the Civic Museums of Verona and the School of Restoration of the Academy, the students, assisted by the teachers and the curator of the collections, undertook an articulated restoration intervention, which involved a complex approach on the different elements that make up the installation of Cavaliere.

The initiative is enriched by a series of meetings that take the title A e Z: l’amore è per sempre, l’arte no (se non la conservi!) (A e Z: love is forever, art is not (if you don't preserve it!): 6 public talks by the students of the Academy who will address a topic inspired by the "key words" related to the practice of restoration. The dates of the meetings are being defined.

The restoration and the cycle of related meetings are an opportunity to enhance the work of young students and, at the same time, promote teaching and sharing of restoration practices applied to contemporary works of art.
