After the natural landing of "Salis" in the rooms of the Magazzini del Sale in Cervia by Vittoria Coen, Mauro Pipani's work is revealed with a new solo exhibition in the spaces of the Augeo Art Space Gallery in Rimini, with a text and presentation edited by Sergio Barducci writer and journalist.
Through the poetic suggestion of Gaetano Arcangeli, 'RENA' will be revealed that from San Giuliano in Rimini, the poet's holiday resort, and the Tiberius bridge, we retrace an ideal passage that connects to the Augeo Gallery, located in the heart of the city. In the same way, the "sand" divides the sea from the land, as a boundary space still to be designed and dreamed of.
In a neutral space, suspended between the past and the future, Pipani presents in the gallery a series of recent works that trace the sandy and pearly segments typical of the sunny seaside of the Riviera where his predecessors with poetic writings (Moretti, Arcangeli, Pascoli) had breath, always dear and inspirational places of the Cesenaticense artist, told with writing.
The crystalline sails, the golden sediments crystallized on the surfaces of the works bear the signs of these places and the lightness of the material in continuous transmutation is reflected in contemporary works disconnected from a provincial context while maintaining the emotional imprinting of the "landscape" of the Riviera. The works float in a temporal universe, in spatiality, letting us glimpse the brightness of new landscapes. During the period of the exhibition, on Saturday 27 November at 6 pm the artist will present his art book "Self-portrait of a place" with an unpublished text by Sandro Sproccati, published by Danilo Montanari Ravenna, in dialogue with Sergio Barducci.
