On the occasion of the 17th edition of Contemporary Art Day, the Istituto Italiano di Cultura in Toronto is pleased to present the work titled Senza titolo (progetto sassaia) by Giacomo Segantin.

The artist and the Director of the Italian Cultural Institute in Toronto, Veronica Manson, will be live via Zoom on Tuesday, December 7, 2021, at 6:30 pm Italian time to present the work and discuss the project from which it was born. The work travelled to Toronto from Italy and will remain on public display at the Istituto Italiano di Cultura until February 28, 2022. The virtual inauguration and discussion will be open to the public during the Q&A session.

The work is the winner of the Under 35 Section of the Public Call Cantica 21. Italian Contemporary Art Everywhere, promoted by the Directorate-General for Cultural and Economic Promotion and Innovation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, and by the Directorate General for Contemporary Creativity of the Ministry of Culture.
