In the exhibition PUNTO DI ARRIVO by Laura Grusovin there are about ten works on display. The exhibition will include a selection of works painted between 2015 and 2020, representative of a moment of social, economic and cultural crisis.
Through this exhibition two main themes will be dealt with: on the one hand ribbons and bows, which symbolize bonds and moods, these works were born during the pandemic that hit society hard and therefore each of us. The second issue addressed is the moment that each of us faces in his own life, that is, that moment in which suspended questions and their answers that have never arrived and in which we no longer hope resurface.
"Staying faithful to the surrealism that has always characterized her work, Laura Grusovin also mixes autobiographical reflection with questions about what happens in a broader horizon in the works that she proposes here - says the curator Eliana Mogorovich - The answers are not definitive , but they keep asking questions. And these are questions that, surprisingly, speak of themes that have become current as a result of the pandemic and of the periods of isolation even though they are works created previously and which therefore end up seeming prophetic.
