The exhibition organized by the Pompeian artist Domenico Severino traces over fifty years of research initially carried out (60s) with the study from life, using pencils, charcoal, tempera and oil painting. Exploring, the form, the landscape, the still lifes and the objects belonging to the peasant world. in the 80s, he became friends with the Neapolitan writer Luigi Compagnone, For over thirty years, at the end of the 90s, after the "Hyperfigurative" parenthesis, (R.Pinto) begins to free his painting from the sign, approaching informal art with acrylics, definitively abandoning oil. "With acrylic colors, I see the result immediately". He also began the exploration of the art of recycling, starting to use recycled and reused industrial materials, participating in both solo and group exhibitions.In the early 2000s, he was invited to take part in the worldwide movement of Mail_Art, (Arte Postal). In this art form, he will find that freedom to express himself without conditioning of any kind. To this movement, he will dedicate a lot, with the creation of numerous postcards with Dadaistic approaches and, also Fluxsus, participating in numerous postal art projects (Mail_Art) all over the world. In 2012, he was invited to make some to create two sculptures in his city.
