As part of the 17th Italian Contemporary Art - Giornata del Contemporaneo, promoted by AMACI with the support of the Direzione Generale Creatività Contemporanea of the MiC and the collaboration the Direzione Generale della Promozione del Sistema Paese of the Ministero degli Affari Esteri e della Cooperazione Internazionale, the Italian Cultural Institute of Lima hosts the workshop of Italian artist Stefano Roselli, which will be held on December 10 and 11. The program of the workshop will be divided into two sections: in the first one, the sculptor will engage in several practical demonstrations related to the use of synthetic solid materials, such as high intensity polystyrene and Styrodur (high density polyurethane). These materials are typically used in the construction industry but they have a useful function in contemporary sculptural work.
The second section will include a demonstration of the artistic use of resin with the aim of creating, through specific molds, plastic models.
The event is an in-person workshop and has a limited number of participants due to the health restrictions in the country.
