Celebrating the Day of Italian Contemporary Art in the world, the Embasy of Italy, and the Italian Cultural Institute in Washington DC, together with International Arts & Artists and Cody Gallery at Marymount University are thrilled to present MAGNIFICA, a screendance performance by Washington Ballet's Choreographer Mimmo Miccolis Choreographer, inspired by the works of Italian duo Goldschmied & Chiari.

Directed by Carola Mamberto, the video becomes a connection between the artworks made from Murano glass and colored smoke bombs, and contemporary dance, couture fashion, and pulsing music. The fusion of these mediums together translates into a four-minute screendance performance, both intoxicating and playful at the same time.

On view until December 11, 2021, "MAGNIFICA" by Goldschmied & Chiari was organized by International Arts & Artists in partnership with the Embassy of Italy and the Italian Cultural Institute in Washington, DC and in collaboration with Cody Gallery at Marymount University.

The exhibition was possible thanks to the support of the Directorate-General for Contemporary Creativity at the Ministero della Cultura under the 2019 Italian Council Program.
