The exhibition CHIMERA, conceived by the artists Filippo Falaguasta, Giancarlo Norese and by the curator Fulvio Chimento, opens on 7 October at 6 pm at the AF Gallery in Bologna. The artistic project, which provides for the co-presence of some works by the two artists for the entire duration of the exhibition, is conceived in a unitary way and is structured in two "movements": from 7 October to 18 November attention is dedicated to works by Filippo Falaguasta, from 25 November to 13 January 2022 the focus will be on the works of Giancarlo Norese.
CHIMERA presents works that have marked the recent production of Falaguasta and Norese, alongside works created specifically for the Bolognese event. What unites the research of the two artists, and which distinguishes them in the panorama of Italian art, is the theme of "risk" linked to work, an approach that leads them to understand art in an essential way, as a disinterested offer to the flow of creativity and the free use of thought: a journey through techniques, actions, relationships and languages, which mirror real life experiences.
