FRONTAC is the Etruscan word for what was "related to lightning". The work draws on various fundamental elements of the territory by relating the geological history of the place characterized mainly by its volcanic nature, and the historical identity that links this place to the ancient presence of the mysterious Etruscan people. At the same time, these two fundamental concepts are intertwined with Magni's poetics focused on the theme of human conflict and on the relationship between Man and Nature, together with the theme of memory, for a reflection aimed at turning the spotlight also on the actuality of our times.
FRONTAC inaugurates the first edition of LLART (Lamone Land Art), a project curated by Mara van Wees for the municipality of FARNESE, which aims to bring contemporary art to the Selva del Lamone, a Nature Reserve of the Lazio Region: a rugged and wild forest of 2000 hectares on the border between Lazio and Tuscany, grown on an ancient lava flow formed about 150,000 years ago. Sometimes impenetrable, covered with "murce" (heaps of lava stones) is a fascinating place of considerable naturalistic, environmental and archaeological value.
