Not a spaceship, but a fishermen's hut on the shore of Lake Bolsena will welcome you. On farm ground, a stretch of land set between the black sandy beach and a vertical wall of woods, the creator of the project, Lorenzo Cozza Caposavi, with the collaboration of Mara van Wees and the curator Francesca Perti, gives hospitality to five artists for the creation of a site-specific work:
- Tommaso Cascella connects the two weather vanes, Africa and Levante, on the meadows by the lake. Two wind vents that soar and welcome breezes or winds from afar.
- Davide Fagioli proposes "Solitude": a giant snail, white as milk, crawls out of the water, carrying a heavy cross, hovering, on its shell.
- Marco Fioramanti installs in a cave, inhabited in the past far from unknown, the wreck "Beetle trattista", the Volkswagen against the Berlin Wall, still intact in 1985.
- Massimo Saverio Ruiu, who has always been inspired by the marine world, draws the “Grancaro” crab on an uneven floor, in marble slabs that emerge on the water's edge.
- Mara van Wees, builds her "Amalasunta tower" in front of the Martana island where Queen Amalasunta was imprisoned and then murdered by her husband in about 535, a femicide dictated by the rules of power.
