On 8 October 2022 at 6.00 pm the Contumaciale Washhouse of Rome inaugurates the exhibition "the houses of 7 lire" which tells the urban and social evolution of Pietralata, connecting to the literary production of P.P. Pasolini.
The exhibition, which is part of the commemorative events for the 100th anniversary of the birth of Pier Paolo Pasolini, is curated by Grazia Menna with the contribution of the Filiberto and Bianca Menna Foundation and the "Figurazioni" Cultural Association.
The works of:
Marco Bianchi, Francesca Pes, Emanuela Secci, Antonio Virzi
The tribute to the figure and work of P.P. Pasolini takes place through a dialogue between the works on display, a dialogue in which each author, in his own style that identifies him in the national artistic panorama, questions himself about the new reality of what was identified in 1935 as the “hamlet” of Pietralata.
