On the occasion of the XVIII edition of the Contemporary Day promoted by AMACI, the Gastone Novelli Archive and the “Pietro Aldi” Cultural Center of Saturnia are pleased to invite you to the presentation of "Gastone Novelli. Saturnia, the origins, the magic of the sign", catalog of the homonymous exhibition published by Corraini Edizioni.

The exhibition investigates the influence that Saturnia had on the poetic imagination of Gastone Novelli, who dedicated several works to this territory. Until January 8, 2023, the artist's drawings, sculptures and canvases will be exhibited at the Polo Aldi together with a selection of Etruscan and Roman finds on loan from the local Archaeological Museum, thus showing the link between the artist's works and sinuosity of the Maremma landscape, the constant motion of the sulphurous waters and the marked archaeological characterization of Saturnia.

The exhibition, created thanks to the contribution of the Municipality of Manciano and Terme di Saturnia Spa & Golf Resort, is curated by Guglielmo Buda and Anna Cristina Caputi, founders of the Guna Contemporary association, in collaboration with the Gastone Novelli Archive.
