In the eighteenth edition of the Contemporary Day, the MIC inaugurates the placement in the permanent exhibition of nine contemporary works of art that have been acquired thanks to the national tender "PAC - Plan for Contemporary Art.

They are: Bertozzi & Casoni, The Basket Of Discord, Pablo Echaurren, My Ombelisk; Giuseppe Ducrot, Cuccagna Ittica; Sissi (Daniela Olivieri), Vasomadre; Nathalie Doyen, Temps Feutré; Prestinary Ornagus, Conchiglia; Diego Cibelli, Generosity Generation; two sculptures by Giacinto Cerone, Grandi Steli Rosse 1 and 2.
