The Torrione Visconteo, a medieval tower that rises in via dei Farnese in Parma, in front of the Palazzo della Pilotta, hosts the site-specific project Camminando contaminando by the artist Francesca Pasquali, author recognized in the field of national and international contemporary art for her related research to synthetic materials. Pasquali transforms and reconnects plastic and industrial materials, often reused, in environments of great complexity and slow processing; even if these are materials of everyday life (plastic, polystyrene, spider webs, bristles), the artist uses techniques as old as man, such as weaving, accumulation, intertwining.
The exhibition is part of the official program of the sixth edition of PARMA 360 Festival of contemporary creativity, an event dedicated to the highest expressions of contemporary visual arts and creative thinking, whose artistic direction is curated by Chiara Canali and Camilla Mineo.
Promoted and produced by the 360 ° Creativity Events and Art Company associations, PARMA 360 Festival has received the patronage and contribution of the Municipality of Parma, the contribution of the Emilia-Romagna Region and the Cariparma Foundation and is from a wide network of public and private.
