Designing a work of art for a specific place means first of all knowing that place: observing it, studying it, deepening its history and functions over time.
Liliana Moro managed, in a scenographic wall work entitled In pegno, to evoke the soul of the Palazzo Monte di Pietà in Savona. The collection, which tells the artistic and productive history of Ligurian ceramics, is in fact kept inside the ancient noble palace, transformed under the pontificate of Sixtus IV into a "credit on pledge". Ceramic was a completely natural choice in Liliana Moro's creative process, as well as the collaboration with local artists and creatives. The artist has in fact created this work using the technical contribution of ceramists Massimo and Danilo Trogu from Albisola and the designer Omar Tonella.
