The Academy of Fine Arts of Catania promotes "Inside the moment", a personal exhibition by Dominique Robin curated by Ambra Stazzone, organized in collaboration with B-Art and the Brodbeck Foundation, which will host it in its spaces, with the sponsored by the Institut Français Palermo and Balloon Project as Media Partner.
Dominique Robin lives between Italy (Rome), France (his native region, Poitou) and the United States (New York) and has exhibited his works in various exhibitions both in Europe and in the United States.
"Inside The Moment" presents the artist's works that range through his production in recent years, giving an account of his multifaceted work and of the various techniques and methodologies used, his commitment to reflection on the complex relationship between man and nature and on spend time.

Two videos will be presented, an artist's book, a large format poster containing several drawings in the artist's book on display, sixteen photographs of various formats taken from two different series:
- "Dentro l'attimo" 2022 (produced by the artist in collaboration with the Academy of Fine Arts of Catania), a video interview presenting the exhibition
- "Stone Puzzles" 2017 (produced by the artist in collaboration with SBA + C), a video that illustrates the artist's installation of the same name that contemplates the active involvement of the public in the reconstruction of ancient natural forms fractured by time
- "Retour impossible du bleu" 2022, one of the artist's books produced by Robin, where 50 imaginary moments, daydreams linked to the various places where the artist lives, are described with as many drawings and as many phrases
- “Retour impossible du bleu” 2022, a long horizontal poster (7.14 x 1 m) that collects drawings from the book
- Thirteen medium, medium-large and large format photographs from the "Retour impossible du bleu" series, created by overlapping drawings, some of which are collected in the artist's book of the same name, which Robin creates as ephemeral portraits of the landscape
- Three large-format photographs from the 2013-22 “Oil” series, made using a sort of “Claude mirror”, inspired by the device used for drawing landscapes by Claude Lorrain. Object of the series are the reflections of the light on the used oil stains coming from his old car.
