The exhibition offers the opportunity to appreciate a part of the artistic production and the maturational evolution of the recently deceased painter Michele ROSA. This appreciation and understanding will be viewed through various themes that have characterized his artistic career and part of his expressive research.
This is a selection that examines some of the many subjects that inspired the painter: landscape painting, female nudes, informal material and plastic abstraction.
Within each thematic section the works are presented chronologically in order to highlight their development and illustrate the stages of transition from the most immature, more illustrative, to the abstract and more recent painting, as well as the important semi-figurative production of transition. .
The exhibition aims to involve the students of the Liceo Artistico “A.G. Bragaglia” of Frosinone, in a school-work alternation activity. Students are directly involved to guide visitors in an educational-training experience in order to lead them to a more attentive and participatory use of works of art, through information technologies and Google applications.
The student, as a young tutor, accompanies and assists the visitor to whom they will have to suggest how to proceed to identify and choose the most significant work in their opinion, in an attempt to stimulate the spirit of observation.
Once the visitor has identified the chosen picture by reading the relevant QrCode, they accesses the electronic interview form with their mobile phone, indicating their preference and then elaborating a concise text explaining the choice made. The collected data will be examined and processed for didactic-educational purposes by the curricular teachers.
The presentation of the artist and the works on display will be curated by the journalist and art critic Alfio BORGHESE, artistic director of the Frosinone contemporary art biennial. Local authorities and exponents of culture will participate in the inaugural event.
