This Summer 2022 we organized Art Sheets – Lenzuola d’Arte, sheets painted by 90 artists from all over Italy and Foreign countries, like Spain, Brazil, Romania, and Colombia, including some elementary schools and Art Institutes, along two main streets in the historic center, positioned between one building and another, embellishing the streets, and giving a choreographic light of themselves. Sheets painted in the wind, have brought joy and luster to the town that has revisited the streets full of crowds walking on foot.
The inspiration comes from observing how the clothes hanging between balconies are allegorically bridges to the other, hands stretched to others, welcome and union.
The event conceived was born from the deep love for art, combined with the typicality of the clothes of the historic center.
An event that binds , unites , and creates relationships, which are never more fundamental in a civil society like ours than in this moment.
The project foresees that the works must be carried out strictly on single sheets, measuring 150x290 cm (classic size of a single sheet); the theme is free, and all techniques and styles are allowed.
