A resistance, a resilience, a survival to catastrophes. With linen threads recycled from fabrics, therefore irregular and full of lumps, fragile, I have mended / embroidered in these three years many clothes, even rags at the last stage of consumption. The work I did was naturally unfolded in a ritual reminiscent of Penelope's a-temporal action. Take time, control the time. A unit of measurement of time. The threads used are not sewing theads: They are linen threads extracted from fabrics. Often, instead of repairing, it happens that they tear the worn fabrics, having lumps or knots and turn the mending into an action at times impossible, and in any case very delicate and demanding, which requires great will and patience. It is perpetual work. After each wash, the smooth fabrics break, the work is apparently useless and is not aesthetically pleasing. In some cases, moths are responsible for the decay of clothing. Moths from which I do not protect them. This is a ritualistic process, a creative one. A dialogue with reality and the condition of captivity, of confinement, constriction and suffering. It becomes an act of resillience. Among these clothes, two identical nightgowns, one rose and one blue. They were used by me and my sister, when we went to stay my grandmother, in our teens. She bought them and kept them in her house. Through the mending of these smooth nightgowns which I regularly still wear, I opened a process of memory and intimate reworking of the relationship between me and my sister. So each plot is a particular story. Other elements will be included in this short art route.

ALIVE BURIAL - EXPOSURE
Sustainable Biodiverse A-Temporary Path

An out door public exhibition itinerary can be visited in the courtyard and entrance

The exhibition, in the strict sense, of works
to the atmospheric elements,
the alteration, the decay over time,
the process of contamination and integration into nature,
time, permaculture, biodiversity, transit,
poverty, sustainability, war, disease:
these have always beenrecurring themes in my works,
today even more necessary.

The interactive exhibition, scenographic, in situ, the use of everyday objects, waste materials,
the interaction of common objects with artistic artefacts,
with nature, the creation of works from collected objects, preserved in the life path, the contribution to
a biodiverse environment, despite everything:
these are my recurring methodologies.

A map with a presentation
will be provided to visitors,
who they will also receive small surprises.
