' CHANCE '

'Chance', in this sense for me it's not the opportunity that is given by Life either from others ; it is the opportunity that is created, especially after the moment of crisis, which, according to old Greek language ,it had in itself a negative or positive meaning, depending on how the crisis itself was welcomed and eventually overcome.
Choosing to film on a large terrace, at dawn, between sky and sea is a great deal indicative ; the dawn, a new Life, another opportunity, the sky and the sea to continue give up and get rid of it, if this is our way.
But also because in this way the element we come from, the Earth, is stronger: so urban dance takes on a less rarefied and noble outline than ballet, but more appropriate to the situation. From the Earth the push to fly, for other shores, to create the chance for me, knowing that I must return to Earth...

' Remember man, what dust you are and dust you will return '. Genesis 3,19

Yet in this Life, there is no place for despondency, nor is it a matter of Luck for me ; it is intelligence. Which should be exacerbated after mistakes, humiliations and betrayals minds.
Intelligence does not erase femininity, which is very present in close-ups; nor the pain, also present, especially in some tight close-ups and some sequences with a 'very slow and heavy' step.
About choreography, as a Member of the International Dance Council, I feel compelled to specify a few points:
– there are clearly academic images
– there are images that refer to Christian iconography (for example when the relevé lifts me so high that I almost seem to be crucified)
– Contemporary Dance chosen as part of the Architecture, not it is therefore extraneous to the environment but well integrated
– very strong expressiveness
