The Quia Arts Festival is an annual international event founded and curated by Moreno Stracci (critic and art and literary historian), Pamela Stracci (journalist and art curator, director of the monthly cultural Quia Magazine) and Ambra Frezza (teacher , choreographer and writer), with the aim of gathering, in an environment of intersemiotic exchange, the different expressions of human creativity: the visual and performing arts. Allowing an exchange in terms of human and cultural capital between artists, visitors, private entities and Italian institutions, speakers, guests and curators, is the central point of the event. The festival combines traditional exhibition methods with fruition through Virtual Exhibition techniques. The Festival promotes spaces for creative interaction and moments for discussion. It hosts seminars on arts and literature, meetings with artists and interviews with personalities from the world of arts, culture and communication. The Festival is an inclusive event accessible to all. Among the various events scheduled this year, the Festival commemorates the hundredth anniversary of the birth of the great Italian intellectual Italo Calvino with a competition exhibition and a focus dedicated to him. Saturday of the Festival there will be the awarding of the winners of the national competition of art and literature "Marta Redolfi National Prize for the Arts" second edition.
