Bergamo, October 7th - Brazilian artist Tâmisa Trommer opens her studio to showcase her latest works from the "Resilience" series. Drawing inspiration from the flora she has been capturing for 20 years and the bucolic landscapes of Italy, the artist displays 8 pieces transitioning between watercolor, gouache, pencil, and acrylic, all with a delicate and distinctive touch.
Through her botanical lens, Trommer illustrates autobiographical memories, believing that the flora encountered throughout life becomes interwoven with our identity. Thus, by recording and reflecting on her strengths and vulnerabilities, she conveys a message about life cycles and society's cultural and emotional connection with nature. The opening of her studio is only on October 7th at Via Carlo Pescaria, 37 - Bergamo/BG/Italy.
Tâmisa Trommer, born in Brazil in 1985, reinterpreted her understanding of life after tragic family events, strengthening her sensitive and escapist personality. She has also presented her creations at biennials like Recôncavo Baiano (BR), Olho Latino (BR), and the London Biennale (UK).
