In the evocative spaces of the Malatesta Fortress, designed by Antonio da Sangallo the Younger in 1549 on behalf of Paul III, the Piedmontese twins Schiavon, in art Van Orton, exhibit for the first time the result of ten years of activity in the field of multimedia art. The collaboration with important artists, such as Bon Jovi and Jovanotti, and with important international brands (Mercedes, Swatch, Colmar, Ducati) projects the works of Van Orton in a pop art context: thanks to the refined technological solutions specifically conceived, the backlight panels and fine art prints introduce the light of contemporaneity into the severe environments, used for three centuries as a pontifical prison, recalling the effect of Gothic stained glass windows.
Free entrance fee and possibility to visit the Museum of the High Middle Ages housed in the same building. Guided tours of the Van Orton Perspective exhibition with free admission at 11 a.m. and 4 p.m.
