On display are 20 new paintings, the result of his most recent pictorial research.

A sense of composition dominates in his works, in which there are several elements, closely related, as in a story. A complex and articulated work made extremely accurately with an impeccable technique.

Emanuele was born in Lentini (Syracuse) in 1959. He started painting at a very young age, his training starts at the Brera art high school, then continues with the study of field theory, science of vision, and study of color scales with master Alvaro Monnini. Courses in Painting and Figure with Painter Micol De Palma. Superior School of Art of the Castello Sforzesco in Milan, with the guidance of master Luigi Timoncini. Courses on 20th-century Italian Engraving, at the Catholic University of Milan, with Prof. Paolo Bellini. International Courses in Chalcography at the Accademia Raffaello in Urbino.

Artistic experience, which began as an illustrator, continued with the activity of painter-engraver. From 1989 to 2001 he taught at the Castello Sforzesco School of Art in Milan; he still teaches in several Civic Schools and Cultural Centers. This is his fourth solo exhibition at Ponte Rosso Gallery, a gallery where the artist has exhibited since 1998.

Carlo Adelio Galimberti writes:

On display are 20 new paintings, the result of his pictorial research more

"A slow and disciplined work that of Vittorio Emanuele, as of someone who feels the responsibility of the history that has preceded him and that the artist retraces with educated and challenging frequentations, making ancient and contemporary interact. Indeed, I think we can speak of an exhibition of intense value.

A review of works is proposed that require a very long and patient gestation for their production. Vittorio Emanuele's work goes beyond the formal imitation of the existing, it actually shows the absolute purity of gesture, when not the solitary and anarchic affirmation of a conquered and unquestioned artistic freedom."
