Descrizione

Qfwfq is a traveler who moves beyond known space and time. He is a character who has always been present, witness and narrator of the creation of the entire universe and everything contained in it. Qfwfq is a pure being, who experiences human feelings and emotions despite possessing neither body nor soul. Qfwfq is an absolute principle, an idea of existence that is expressed differently in each story to face challenges and situations linked to the history of the universe. The exhibition presented within the rooms of the Italian Cultural Institute in Warsaw draws inspiration from the protagonist character of Le Cosmicomiche and Ti con zero, paying homage to Italo Calvino and ideally associating itself, thus, with the celebrations for the centenary of his birth which falls on the days of its inauguration.
Following Calvino's story, ten artists, five of Italian nationality and five of Polish nationality, discuss the theme of travel and migration, interpreting it in different ways, in a dialogue that brings together and compares creative sensibilities and expressive languages heterogeneous.

Elena Bellantoni, Karolina Grzywnowicz, Diana Lelonek, Claudia Losi, Jacopo Mazzonelli, Marta Nadolle, Michał Smandek, Giuseppe Stampone, Radek Szlaga, Alex Urso.
