Elisa Zadi's work explores issues of femininity, identity and belonging through self-portraiture. His path develops by investigating the connection between man and nature both in an introspective, anthropological and symbolic sense. A multifaceted artist, she deals with painting, installation, performance and poetry.
During the lockdown his new series of works entitled "Possible Worlds" was born, Zadi is inspired by Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz and the concepts of Possible Worlds, understood as perfect ideas in the mind of God and as the search for Truth. This theme is used as a basis to explore the possibilities of self-portraiture and identity representation. "Tempo Perduto" is a series that talks about figures who seek a connection with each other and with nature. It represents the challenge of being part of a constantly changing and moving reality, according to Zygmunt Bauman's theories on the liquidity of human relationships. This work reflects on the complexity and ephemerality of modern life, where human relationships and connection with nature can slip and change easily.
In 2023 the series of works “Bruciare Illusioni” takes shape. Here the artist explores the concept of rebirth and transformation represented by the symbolism of fire. Destroy illusions and false conformities to allow authentic personal and spiritual growth to arise.
In this series of works, the artist explores the connections between myth, history and her own personal experience, offering a reflection on the female condition and the struggle for identity, giving life to intimate and evocative works.

These works represent an important step in Elisa Zadi's career, confirming her artistic talent and her ability to communicate complex emotions through painting. With his work, the artist positions himself as an authentic and significant voice in the panorama of contemporary art.
