Trieste Contemporanea on the occasion of the nineteenth edition of the Giornata del Contemporaneo AMACI presents the new call for the Young European Artist Trieste Contemporanea Award (YEATCA).

The presentation curated by Giuliana Carbi Jesurun will take place in the presence of the members of the initiative’s organising committee and the online part will allow for an in-depth examination of the call in the form of a webinar.
During the event on 7 October, some of the winners of past editions will be present and will discuss the theme “The position and practices of the young artist in European society in times of crisis”.
The call for the 2023 edition, which requires competitors to submit a portfolio of their activity over the last five years to be evaluated by an international jury, opened in September and will expire on 30 November 2023.
There is no participation fee.
The award gives the winner the opportunity to conceive a project for an exhibition that will be set up at Studio Tommaseo in Trieste. A catalogue of the exhibition is also published.
