Doors open in the art galleries of Monza on Saturday 7th October for an immersion in contemporary art involving eleven exhibition venues located throughout the city. The route is indicated in a poster-map which shows the various locations with their respective exhibitions to allow visitors an easy visit with free access and without the obligation to book. The initiative, under the patronage of the municipality of Monza, is part of the national project established by AMACI - Association of Italian Contemporary Art Museums. The galleries involved are: Amerigo Milano, ARCgallery, Arti≤>sta, Cappella Espiatoria, Casati Arte, FMArt Studio, Leogalleries, Matteo Maria Mapelli Art, MIMUMO-Micro Museo Monza, Montrasio Arte, VILLA CONTEMPORANEA. The same galleries are promoters of another initiative: the open air exhibition of sculptures "Interrupted Correspondences" in the Serre garden of the Villa Reale, an ideal stage for sculptures and installations in dialogue with the natural environment of the garden and the neoclassical architecture of the Palace. An opportunity for everyone, art lovers, experts or novices, to approach the various languages of contemporary art by taking advantage of the presence of gallery owners, curators, critics and the artists themselves with whom to interact and discuss, or simply watch and admire. These initiatives, in addition to those already underway at the Orangerie with the "Bansky" exhibition and at the Belvedere with the Biennale delle Academie, make Monza a tourist destination not only for history but also for contemporary art.
