“I think that the interior design, especially in the living area, should start from the choice of carpet” explains Clara. “The right carpet in fact decisively characterizes the style of the environment, creates a warm and lived-in atmosphere and above all helps to delimit the space and define the functions: for this reason the conversation area of a living room without a carpet often appears bare and over."
The rug therefore takes on the same importance as a painting, a contemporary work of art or a piece of designer furniture.
Starting from these considerations, Clara Bona came to design two indoor collections designed precisely to make the carpet the absolute protagonist of the interior project, in a fresh and contemporary way, also suitable for those who have never considered the carpet as the fulcrum of home furnishings.
They are two different but complementary lines, which can also coexist in the same space, but which represent two interpretations of her style. And they are completed with an outdoor line designed to furnish outdoor spaces with the same attention as interiors, given the ever-increasing importance that gardens and terraces have achieved in recent years. Relazioni starts from the use of geometric shapes combined with a full color palette and intense, combined to create harmonious but unusual and never predictable compositions. The wool, hand-knotted with a flat weave, enlivens the surface with backgrounds that add a strong decorative value to the space.
Percorsi plays on the materiality of wool, chosen in a single colour, white, and crossed by dark lines that can be glimpsed in a play of relief surfaces. They are designed for those who prefer a minimal and single-color style, but without giving up a warm home with personality.
Orizzonti, on the other hand, is the line of outdoor rugs: a collection characterized by a palette of light and neutral colors in which it is the texture that enlivens the surface and becomes decoration.
