Manualetto is a temporary aggregative space designed and built near the former Agricultural Consortium of Ravenna (Darsena area). The project was conceived by Denara and Studio Doiz. For three weekends - the last two in September and the first in October - from Friday to Sunday, marte also presents events and cultural insights with a focus on contemporary art.
Within Manualetto, Crowdfunding Bagnato organised an exhibition and talk in collaboration with marte to present the project and try to raise more funds.
Crowdfunding Bagnato is the brainchild of Sara Cortesi and Arianna Zama and aims to raise funds to help the municipalities of Bassa Romagna through the donation and sale of works by artists living all over Italy. Buying a work through Crowdfunding Bagnato means actively contributing to the emergency in Romagna. In fact, the entire proceeds will be donated to the Unione dei Comuni della Bassa Romagna, whose patronage the fundraiser has. To date, more than 150 works have been donated and more than €2000 collected: the sale is still on.
From 6 to 8 October from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Area Tempus, the former Agricultural Consortium of Ravenna, the works of Pengpeng Wang, Caterina Morigi, Giulia Soldati, Vitalii Fedotov, Aleksandra Miteva, and CaCO3 will be on display and available for purchase.
On the final evening, 8 October, from 7.30 p.m., the founders of Crowdfunding Bagnato will discuss the project and chat with some of the artists.
