Personal exhibition of the sculptor Paolo Soro.
The path is unique, existential and historical, because every man feeds on his time, breathes its air, is touched by events, feels their novelty and conflict but keeps alive a cry of questioning and fulfillment that cannot be remained silent (Montale observed: everything we do has a cry inside... that's not why!).
The exhibition tells an existential vision of man through sculptural works. The exhibition itinerary, which falls within the scope of the 50x50 initiatives and therefore in the Pesaro Capital of Culture 2024 program, is made up of 15 sculptures in metal or mixed materials (terracotta, lead, bronze, steel and stainless steel) which tell the story of the recomposition of man in his various dimensions (cultural, historical, religious, emotional) starting from a fragmented contemporaneity and symbolized by the work dedicated to Palmyra or by the sculpture "Sower of Weeds".
The exhibition is accompanied by a critical text by Maurizio Cesarini.
Paolo Soro was born in Sestu (CA) in 1959 and graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Urbino where he currently teaches foundry and sculpture techniques.
