The artist ClauCasti is carrying forward the work in progress: "Re-sewing peace - Turning points" exhibited for the first time in the 7’ edition of the prestigious contemporary art exhibition Le stanze delle meraviglie - Wunderkammer, curated by Marisa Cortese in 2024, italy.
The uncertain and warlike historical times we are experiencing were the starting point for this artistic study.
A performative work that is constituted through social performances with the theme of peace. Possibly not on a superficial and mental level, which is easy to say, but precisely through a deeper work that brings this little dove sewn
together and each to their own, with a message of peace written by the participants that truly comes from the heart, from deep. This message can also be a small transformative seed for the person. Peace is seen as personal, of the
world, of planet Earth, of nature, in the family, between peoples, between parts of oneself...
This is the meaning of this work.
The landing of the doves of art and peace will open this time in the sky of Milan, in the OBYARTStudio Multifunctional treasure chest gallery which will host the flock of peace with an exhibition curated by Roberta Barbieri.
