It is an online exhibition of works, which have the portrait and human figure at its center. The works are the result of a research aimed at building a personal expressive reworking of the human figure.
The aim is to make the sign and the figure essential, leaving behind stereotypes and preconceived mental patterns. I have thus intended to build a path of investigation on the figure, through a design methodology, based on the study, interpretation and reworking of the shape, structure and attitudes of the body.
The harmony of forms, masses and lines is broken, with ink or color spots that intermingle the features and profiles, sometimes in massive form, Sometimes with thin, thread-like marks that branch out and penetrate from the outside or exit from the inside of the figure.
This contamination or deformation of the bodies is a pictorial construction that contributes to give my works a principle of dematerialization that makes their reading less explicit, to bring out new feelings and emotions.
