In the twentieth edition of Giornata del Contemporaneo, one of the themes that most draws attention and raises important questions, concerns the question of what is the most effective way to evaluate the reality that one encounters "walking on the street".

In a dimension such as the contemporary one, where everything changes quickly and the only constant seems to be the impermanence of things, Giorgia Mattei proposes and presents, through her pictorial and graphic works, a way of looking at the world not as it is but as it is perceived, returning a captivating version, perhaps deformed, precisely "fish-eye", at times ironic and at the same time subversive.
