On 12 October at 6.30 pm at the MAAAC in Cisternino, the public meeting "Cum Sidera_Territorial realities and the contemporary" organized by Elisa Gallenca, Graziella Melania Geraci, Silvia Pettinicchio and Lucia Uni will take place. The event is part of the events of the twentieth edition of the contemporary day promoted by AMACI - Association of Italian Contemporary Art Museums and carried out with the support of the General Directorate of Contemporary Creativity of the Ministry of Culture. The comparison between the various activities engaged in the Apulian territory, in the context of independent research in contemporary art, arises from the desire to draw a map of the experiences made, to discuss the premises of artistic practices in places not designed to welcome them and oriented towards tradition and tourism, for an exchange of visions between artists, curators, collectors, gallery owners and professionals. The entities involved represent the independent voice of a complex and multifaceted situation, so the event will offer the possibility of analyzing problems and opportunities in contemporary work, broadening the cultural perspective of the area taken into consideration. Among the testimonies that can be shared will be those of: Mariangela Stoppa, Gianfranco Ciola, Pietro Mastrorilli, Marica Albanese. The event takes place under the patronage of the municipality of Cisternino and with the collaboration of the Associazione Meteo Valle d'Itria Odv.
