In the aesthetic dimension, the concept of "horizon" takes on a complex and multifaceted meaning, going beyond the simple line that separates heaven and earth. It is a powerful metaphor, a threshold between the visible and the invisible, between what is known and what remains to be explored, capable of deeply intertwining with the fundamental themes of existence and generating dialogues that prompt profound reflections on the role and responsibility of the Self towards the world. The horizon can be defined as a place and a moment of transition but also of infinite possibilities: it is the contemplation that materializes in the blaze of Light, as a symbol of knowledge and vital cyclicity. An allegory of limit and fragility, the horizon is the key to understanding an anthropological renewal, since it suggests that beyond the visible there is a potential territory that humanity must explore and, above all, protect, also incorporating the acquisitions of science and technology.
The exhibition is an invitation to look beyond the present, towards a future in which man has the power and responsibility to change the course of events, since the horizon is not just a vanishing point, but a goal to be achieved, a place where we understand that the light of awareness must shine. A space for critical reflection and action through the works of Marcello Aitiani, Carlo Cantini and Luigi Petracchi who, through photography, installations and painting, create a reflective and at times provocative dialogue on the role of man in relation to Nature, following the common denominator of Light, as a revealing essence and bearer of life. Through a powerful visual narrative, the artists invite visitors to reflect on the fragile beauty of our natural world and the need for shared responsibility for its protection. The exhibition is a visual and intellectual journey, it is an aesthetic line that invites us to look forward, to question the future and to consider the crucial role of humanity in determining what will happen beyond that border. The dialogue between light, nature and responsibility becomes central, as it reminds us that our existence is inextricably linked to what happens beyond the horizon, be it physical, moral or ecological. In this sense, contemporary art invites us not to lose sight of our collective horizon, urging us to become the guardians of a world that, despite everything, can still shine with its own light.
