An art exhibition with artworks by Cinzia Busto and Giulia Federico.
The title comes from a quotation by Italo Calvino 's "American Lessons", in which he describes the moon as a worthy of note subject that generally escapes people's notice.
Silver moon shines as the surface of graphite of the drawing or an illuminated landscape.
This poetic image introduces the drawings and paintings exhibited in the art exhibition.

GIULIA FEDERICO
On the cover (right) work "Fragilitas", pencil drawing graphite on paper, 76 x 100 cm, 2022.
Every drawing Giulia Federico realizes is the result of a long process of meditation: a spiritual research and a techinal work.
The main theme of her artistical research is the caducity of human life. The Vanitas theme is a very ancient topic in history of art and philosophy, which she has intensified after the covid pandemic.
The study of the objects and of the nature, with esasperated small, enlarged and faded still lifes, explores the beauty of nature and drama of this theme.
Sign by sign, line by line, with costancy and dediction, only few and unique pieces are made every year in the silence of her studio.
CINZIA BUSTO
Cinzia Busto depicts the contemporaneity by means of the traditional medium and technique of oil panting on canvas and through the elaboration of her own photographs. Light, material, colour - mental and unreal- these are the main aspects of her artistical research, thanks whom she has received several art awards. The landscape, urban or natural, becomes a memorial or a identity place, and the main theme on which Cinzia Busto builds her personal vision of the world.
