Promoted and organized by the City of Castelsardo and the Department of Culture, with the artistic direction of Graziano Folata, this first appointment of 'MAESTRALIA' opens to the investigation on the new frontiers of contemporaneity and rediscovers, through the pulsating search of languages produced by the invited Artists, the ancient premises of the monastery based under the castle, made accessible again for the occasion of the Day of the Contemporary.
Audiovisual, sculpture and figurative installation are the areas on which Tore Manca, Graziano Folata, Fiore Cao, Alice Mocci and Genesio Pistidda, reason of their personal trajectories, Heterogeneous but able to question the conditions of the gaze and artistic authorship to enter in concert in the spaces of this first collective exhibition.


MAESTRALIA is a promise in the wind that from the sea sferre Castelsardo, the will to create in the near future a vital place for contemporary art, able over time to become a reference point for emerging artists and cultural operators with particular experimental vocation in the practice on contemporary.
