Andrea Zanchetta Tufina, born in Tirana, Albania, in 1975, now lives and works in Casaleone, in the province of Verona. After moving to Italy in 1998 for educational purposes, he nurtured his passion for art, successfully exhibiting in various solo and group shows. A self-taught artist, Andrea began with pencil portraits before evolving into painting on canvas, experimenting with various techniques and materials, ultimately developing a recognizable and personal style.
Most of his works, nearly all large in size, are characterized by a strong visual language: black-and-white figures crossed by a colored band that acts as a filter, often red, which enhances the emotional essence of the subjects.
Andrea Zanchetta Tufina has had the opportunity to engage with and receive artistic inspiration by participating in numerous exhibitions with the association Aperto Arte. This collaboration allowed him to connect with a network of creatives, with whom he shares artistic ideas and visions, contributing to the evolution of his expressive journey.
Over time, Andrea has participated in many significant exhibitions, including "Maledetti Albanesi" at Casa del Mantegna (2018) and Museo Fioroni in Legnago (2019), as well as recent shows in Basel and Zurich. His art explores deeply human themes, such as the intimate relationship between people and their passions, presented with poetry, provocation, and conviction. In his collection "Focus d'Artista," Andrea highlights love as an antidote to modern loneliness and depersonalization, representing two souls merging in perfect dialogue through their bodies.
Opening hours: Friday 5-8 PM, **Saturday 10 AM-12 PM / 5-8 PM**, Sunday 5-8 PM.
