The anthological solo exhibition Mnemosine – by Vittorio Fava. traces the artistic life of Vittorio Fava in fifty years of work and research. The title is inspired by Mnemosyne who in ancient Greece was the goddess of memory, considered the mother of the nine muses, the very personification of memory, venerated as the protector of the arts, poetry and traditions. In dialogue with the eight frescoed Renaissance rooms of Palazzo Rospigliosi-Colonna, there are one hundred works ranging from painting and sculpture, from engraving to assemblages, from
paper to wood, from lecterns to books, from furniture to the mobility of his machines
