On the occasion of the #GiornataDelContemporaneo, the Museo del Novecento renews its Focus 900 program with projects dedicated to Paolo Scirpa and Alberto Garutti.
Developed in collaboration with artist archives and studios, these interventions open a dialogue between the selected works and the museum’s permanent collection, creating new historical, formal, and conceptual connections.
The section dedicated to Paolo Scirpa highlights his exploration of light as matter in relation to space, from the “ludoscopi” of the 1970s to visionary projects for urban environments.
The selection of works by Alberto Garutti retraces fifty years of artistic research: from his early photographic experiments in the 1970s to more recent investigations into public space and its relational dimension.
Throughout the day: free admission, guided tours, and activities open to all visitors.
