With the 360° Virtual Tour of the Basilica of St. Anthony of Padua, we delve into one of the world's most popular Catholic pilgrimage sites. Construction began in 1238 and ended in 1310. A fire destroyed the bell tower in 1394, and the tower was rebuilt in the 15th century. In 1691, after the apse was demolished, the Chapel of the Relics, or the Treasury, was built. It is a basilica with a variety of styles and influences: Romanesque, Byzantine-Venetian domes, Gothic, and Baroque. We exhibit a rich collection of bronze sculptures by Donatello and Titian Aspetti. Through 16 panoramic views, you can admire the main parts of the temple, from the exterior façade to the square perched on a towering pedestal, the equestrian monument of Gattamelata, and its various interiors, including cloisters, antechambers, naves, and chapels, including the Chapel of St. Anthony and the Chapel of the Relics. In short, this is an interesting 360° interactive tour where, if viewed on a computer, you can enjoy 30 minutes of Gregorian and sacred chants that will accompany and facilitate a more intense and conducive view.
