Quia APS is pleased to announce the fifth edition of the international exhibition "No Borders". The event, organized in collaboration with A.C. La Collina dei Ciliegi and APS Il Mandorlo d'Oro, is part of the celebrations for the United Nations World Tourism Day 2025, whose theme is "Tourism and Sustainable Transformation."
"No Borders" is a unique cultural initiative, born from the idea of its curators Moreno Stracci, art and literature critic and historian, and Pamela Stracci, journalist and director of Quia Magazine.
The exhibition represents an "evolving event", a collective project that rediscovers stamped postcards and transforms them into powerful vehicles for global messages. Quia APS's founding idea is that art can act as a catalyst for a universal reflection on the importance of tourism, not only as a factor for inclusive and sustainable economic development but also as a tool for peace and personal, social, and political growth. The virtual exhibition will be held from September 27 to October 10, 2025, on Quia's channels. On this occasion, artist postcards from every corner of the world, created by artists, poets, photographers, and simple enthusiasts, will be presented. Each postcard, with its poetry, a thought, a drawing, a small painting, or a photograph, represents a tangible message that has undertaken a unique journey, rediscovering the intrinsic value of physical communication in a digital era. The care in creating and sending each single postcard, complete with its stamp and postage, embodies a small but precious gesture of love and human connection. The postcards that reach their destination, upon completion of their journey, will be displayed to the public as part of the Quia Arts Festival 2025 edition. This initiative, entirely free and open to all global citizens, underscores Quia APS's commitment to promoting cultural accessibility and global participation.
"This fifth edition of 'No Borders' is a tangible symbol of our mission," states Pamela Stracci. "We believe that every postcard is a fragment of intercultural dialogue, a building block to construct bridges instead of walls. In a world that increasingly needs to reconnect, tourism and art become extraordinary tools to promote understanding and sustainable transformation of our societies."
"The event," explains Moreno Stracci, "this year more than ever, aims to be a beacon of inclusion and creativity, offering an unprecedented perspective on how art can actively contribute to the principles of sustainability and, above all, peace in this period of tremendous and absurd wars. In a small postcard, a peaceful and global chorus to declare our humanity."
The initiative adheres to World Tourism Day 2025 #WTD25 promoted by UNWTO (United Nations World Tourism Organization) and the 21st Contemporary Art Day #GDC21 promoted by AMACI (Association of Italian Contemporary Art Museums).
