Festival with concerts, talks, workshops & more
The Waag Festa opens the Casa della Pesa to a day of shared culture. A sewing and upcycling workshop invites participants to transform discarded materials into new creations. Young artists, in collaboration with the university, present their graphic projects on the idea of European identity, culminating in a final award ceremony. The day is completed by exhibitions, concerts, and talks—an open invitation to discover new ideas and experience art in the heart of Bolzano.

Workshop & Exhibition
What connects or distinguishes Siegerland from the Merano region? In an artistic exploration of these two territories, the team from the Department of Art in Public Space and Cultural Education at the University of Siegen (Johanna Schwarz, Alexandra-Joy Jaeckel, Stefanie Klingemann and Samuel Treindl) went on a creative journey with 16 students to Lana. During the cultural festival LanaLive, a converted container on the Town Hall Square was the centre of student action for ten days. From there, the students took to the streets of Lana, coming into direct contact with the local community to weave together traditions, stories and thoughts and transform them into an artistic work. Some of the students - Julia Mikhaylova, Charlotte Figulla, Simon Löhrer and Lukas Beck - return to South Tyrol and present some of the results of their study stay.there, the students took to the streets of Lana, coming into direct contact with the local community to weave together traditions, stories and thoughts and transform them into an artistic work.
