With its Third Resonance, GAM Torino continues its exploration of contemporary art languages throughout the month of October, presenting a new thematic core that delves into the intersection of enchantment, dream, and disquiet.

The notion of enchantment referenced here is neither pacified nor purely aesthetic; it draws upon ambiguity, perceptual shifts, and the subtle fissures that open within the surface of reality, revealing its most fragile, mysterious, or unsettling aspects.

The exhibitions comprising this Resonance offer visual and sensory experiences in which the fragility of materials, the interplay of light and shadow, and the ambiguity and unveiling of images guide the viewer through an unknown, poetic, and disquieting landscape.

The Third Resonance also intertwines with GAM’s historical collection through a careful process of selection and juxtaposition. As with previous editions, works from the past enter into dialogue with contemporary pieces, activating unexpected temporal and conceptual connections and reinforcing the idea of a dynamic continuity between memory and the present, between sedimentation and resonance.
