On the occasion of the 21st Giornata del Contemporaneo promoted by AMACI, the members of the tourist promotion group In Laerru will guide visitors of the Pinacoteca Contemporanea through a journey of discovery of the museum’s permanent collection.

The collection is distinguished by its representation of a highly contemporary historical moment, significant in outlining the artistic activity that has developed in Sardinia and across Italy over the past twenty years. It includes paintings and sculptures dated between 1994 and 2024 by the following artists: Adriano Annino, Silvia Argiolas, Cesare Baracca, Giovanni Blanco, Riccardo Camboni, Simone Carta, Francesca Casu, Riccardo Cavallini, Roberto Chessa, Erik Chevalier, Johnny Eroe, Roberto Fanari, Rachele Frison, Sergio Fronteddu, Silvia Idili, Maurizio L’Altrella, Tommaso Langiu, Tonino Mattu, Max Mazzoli, Silvia Mei, Federica Moi, Narcisa Monni, Pastorello, Vincenzo Pattusi, Paolo Pibi, Gianluca Pisano, Massimiliano Rausa, Michael Rotondi, Giuliano Sale, Josephine Sassu, Chiara Seghene, Rachele Sotgiu, Aldo Tilocca, and Giulio Zanet.

In Laerru is a project developed within the framework of Laerru Contemporanea, the cultural program of the town of Laerru for 2025, supported by the Fondazione di Sardegna and in collaboration with the Pro Loco Rigorona. Laerru Contemporanea recognizes the Pinacoteca Contemporanea as the main promoter of a series of cultural initiatives aimed at enhancing the collection of paintings and sculptures housed in the institution, as well as the cultural values and the archaeological and landscape heritage of the Anglona area.

The museum, inaugurated in 2024 under the direction of Eleonora Angiolini, was established by the Municipality of Laerru following a significant donation of paintings and sculptures from a private collection.
