Like every year, AmarilloArt is participating in Giornata del Contemporaneo (Contemporary Art Day) with both physical and online events, uniting different countries and artists through Linea Amarilla-Linea Gialla, the traveling urban art and culture project conceived by Mario Alvarez.
The project has already traveled throughout Italy and the world, connecting the outskirts to the center of the cities and countries it hosts in a journey through the arts.

This year, to mark the 21st edition of the Giornata del Contemporaneo, AmarilloArt is presenting a virtual online exhibition featuring artists and architects from various countries, titled “Architecture Without Borders: Frontier Architecture, Landscape Architecture, Emigrant Architecture”.

From Saturday, October 4th, the exhibition will be available on the website www.amarilloart.es

To celebrate World Architecture Day, which this year falls on October 6th, the works of 20th-century and contemporary architects who have worked on borders, landscapes, or who have emigrated from their home countries to the other side of the world will be presented and compared.
A dialogue across time and space to demonstrate how architecture, like art, transcends borders and builds connections.
A journey that begins on the border between Italy and Slovenia, between Gorizia and Nova Gorica (the first two cities in different countries to share the title of European Capital of Culture, celebrating cross-border collaboration after years of separation due to the border), and continues in Argentina and Brazil.

The exhibition also includes physical events at locations yet to be determined.
