Inaugurated in 2010, the Novecento museum in Naples has a rich collection of works by artists linked to the city of Naples, by birth, vocation or career. The museum itinerary is divided into various sections, ranging from the first Futurism in Naples (1910-1914), to the most significant experiences of the second post-war period (1948-1958), including those of the M.A.C. and Informal, up to the most interesting and unpublished voices of the national and Neapolitan contemporaneity. The museum is also the promoter of the "A work for the castle" competition, in which young artists and architects participate every year, proposing one of their site-specific works.
