MUSMA is the only cave museum in the world entirely dedicated to modern and contemporary sculpture. Its rich collection of Italian and international sculptures from the late 1800s to this day is located in Palazzo Pomarici (16th century), in the heart of the Sassi di Matera, set up both in the built first floor and in seven underground rooms.
