MACTE
Museo di Arte Contemporanea di Termoli
DESCRIPTION
MACTE– Museo di Arte Contemporanea di Termoli was created in 2019 to foster art and culture, to manage and care for the collection of artworks from the Premio Termoli and to present contemporary art exhibitions. Premio Termoli, established in 1955, is one of the longest-running artistic events in Italy and from its editions a rich collection of artworks has been gathered, presently entrusted to Fondazione MACTE. MACTE's building is the repurposing of a former market, with a circular main hall and a series of rooms. A new wing which increases the museum’s facilities is about to be completed.
